DBT Therapist
Sarah is a DBT Therapist. Sarah specialises in working with adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health difficulties. She has been in practice for 17 years gaining experience in a number of settings including charities, inpatient and outpatient settings with private healthcare organisations and Harley Street outpatient clinics, alongside managing her own thriving private practice. Sarah is passionate about mental health and dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their therapy goals. Sarah is an interactive and creative therapist and promotes client autonomy in her work.
Sarah originally completed her training as an Integrative therapist with a BACP Accredited counselling school. In addition, Sarah completed her training to Certification in Solution Focused Therapy with The Glasser Institute and is a patron. Sarah’s clinical experience includes working with inpatients and outpatients at The Priory Hospital, Chelmsford. Here, Sarah worked as a fully qualified DBT Therapist running DBT group programmes. In addition, Sarah facilitated a range of group therapies including Transactional Analysis. Sarah is fully accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Sarah completed her DBT training with British Isles DBT Training. Sarah is a member of the Society of DBT. Today, Sarah runs her own private DBT service and continues to further her training by attending workshops, seminars and Continued Professional Development courses.
