CBT and EMDR Therapist
Claire is a CBT and EMDR Therapist who has over a decade of experience working within the NHS as well as over 5 years of experience working in the private sector. Claire is also a qualified clinical supervisor, helping trainee therapists develop their skills as well as offering support to qualified therapists.
Claire has extensive experience in working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health difficulties, namely, anxiety disorders, including Social Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias as well as Depression and Low Mood. Claire has a particular interest in supporting women’s wellbeing. Claire has specialist skills in perinatal care but also understands and values all stages of a woman’s life, helping them reconnect with their personal values and find their path in life.
Based on a bespoke formulation that allows deeper understanding of the difficulties experienced, Claire works collaboratively with her clients to ensure therapy is individually tailored. Claire is fully accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Outside of the therapy room, in her spare time Claire enjoys cooking, painting, nature walks and listening to music.
