Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Helen is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience since completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2001. She spent 15 years working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), including 11 years as the Lead Consultant Psychologist for a Psychological Therapies team in an adolescent inpatient unit, where she delivered evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
In addition to her clinical work, Helen has contributed to doctoral training programmes and provided supervision to psychologists and other mental health professionals. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for children and adolescents.
Helen has also served as the Network Lead for Clinical Psychologists working in education for the British Psychological Society. Most recently, she was the Lead Clinical Psychologist at an independent school, where she was nominated for her innovative curriculum-based programme promoting proactive wellbeing practices.
